About us

Ocean Group is an event agency, conference and travel organiser with extensive knowledge of Gothenburg and the Swedish west coast.

We have over 10 years of experience organizing conferences and different events. The company has evolved from owning a smaller conference hotel and a RIB boat charter company to an event agency and DMC in the last 5 years. With that experience we know what it takes to implement really good events.

How we are working

We specialise in providing tailor-made, carefully-planned programmes for all types of corporate group travel & event, meetings, conferences, incentive trips as well as for the smaller or bigger group.

Our offers are always tailor made and based on your briefings – You don’t get standardised pages or a “catalogue” of services from which you need to set up your programme by yourself, never to be sure if it works out properly.

Our offers and research are always free of charge and without any obligation for you.

We always provide an assigned project manager to your event and use our own eventstaff.

Gothenburg as a destinaton

Gothenburg is one of the leading events cities in Europe. We offer first-class venues, hotels, restaurants and attractive shopping – as can every other big city in Europe. The difference is that in Gothenburg everything is within easy walking distance, in the heart of a vibrant metropolitan setting. It is the 2:nd largest city in Sweden and perfectly situated in the heart of Scandinavia, right between the Swedish, Danish and Norwegian capitals.

Not only that, the city is just by the sea and the beautiful west coast archipelago. The price level in Sweden is below European average and Gothenburg is generally less expensive than any Scandinavian capital city. English is widely spoken.

City of Gothenburg are set to host an America’s Cup World Series event during the last weekend of August (28th – 30th) 2015.
After nine months, ten different ports and almost 39 000 nautical miles the teams of Volvo Ocean Race will reach the finish line – Gothenburg. Come along, celebrate and welcome them home 21-28 June 2015!
