Ocean Group works in an event, conference, and entertainment oriented business in a sensitive maritime environment. This is the underlying reason for us to have a progressive environmental approach that puts both the client and the environment in focus. We must set high environmental standards within all our operations and other activities within Ocean Group. This means, among other things, that we work on lowering the environmental impact on transportation, decrease waste, increase our sorting and recycling, decrease energy use and strive to use environmentally friendly product in all our operations.
We will have an open communication with all associates, suppliers, contractors, and partners regarding the products and services we can influence with a sustainable environmental approach. Our partners, suppliers, contractors and sponsors must show an active environmental program in their operations. This can be done by showing internal work or the company’s active environmental management program. We will with our procurement contracts of goods and services show clear environmental requirements for all operations within Ocean Group.

Ocean Group’s environmental management program is based on and built on an EMS (Environmental Management System) and around the standards of Miljöförvaltningen in Gothenburg for environmental certifications.
